Association for Rural and Small Libraries
Who They Are

The Association for Rural & Small Libraries is a network of persons throughout the country dedicated to the positive growth and development of libraries.

What They Needed

Results

Launched in late 2009, ARSL now communicates to the world through its blog and features libraries nationwide through its dynamic photo feature on the home page. ARSL is no longer 'regional' in its web presence.

What They Needed: Online Community

HOBY Reverb, under very tight budget constraints, needed an efficient way to market a nationwide speaker network while providing the opportunities for its principal target market, youth leaders 16-18, to ‘spread the word’ online about HOBY Reverb’s unique offerings.

Result

Launched in April, 2008 this website allows youth leaders to contribute to the site themselves by requesting access, composing leadership-focused content, and having Reverb moderators post their content – no code experience required.

Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership
Who They Are

HOBY is the nation's premier youth leadership organization. Targeted to high school youth leaders through their nationwide network of local seminars, HOBY's mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service and innovation.

What They Needed: Content Management System

Redesigned Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership's national website with a 900-pixel layout and incorporated a fully functional content management system (CMS). This allows HOBY staff to fully manage the site without the need for webmaster support.

Unique Needs

Building from the successful launch of HOBY’s original site re-design in 2007 by ProjectEric, the non-profit looked to expand its web presence with up-to-date content and lessen the need for costly webmaster support.

Launched in January, 2009, recent design improvements and CMS integration now save HOBY thousands of dollars in monthly website update charges.
